Biology

Biology, derived from the Greek roots Bios meaning "life" and logy meaning "to study". I have always had an interest in biology and throughout my life and various jobs within the biology field, I have gained a greater understanding and appreciation of the world around me. My goal as a biology teacher is to help students gain a better appreciation of the life around through a basic understanding of how that life is able to survive on this planet. There is beauty in every part of the natural world around us, I hope my students leave with a greater interest in that world.
